Monday, June 25 (Willmar, MN to Bismarck, ND)
The Days Inn was right off the main road and I crashed as soon as I arrived Sunday night. I was so tired I forgot to change the alarm from pm to am and woke up a little later than I intended. I didn't get going until 9:00 a.m., wending my way through the back roads of Minnesota. 
I decided not to head straight for the freeway but to veer northwest instead driving through farm country. It is nice and green but pretty flat. 
I saw less and less green the closer I got to North Dakota. Once I arrived at I-94 I just kept going till I arrived in Bismark where I spent the night.
